Why did my brake rotors rust after using Wheel Cleaner

Last updated on 21 May, 2023

I am happy to tell you the next time you drive your vehicle it will disappear.

Brake rotors are usually made from cast iron and they'll oxidize quickly when exposed to Wheel Cleaners, even morning dew may cause this to happen sometimes.

The only time it is less noticeable is if you have ceramic brakes.

You won't have to worry, no damage has been caused to your vehicle or your calipers.
