We don't recommend using it in the engine bay because the wheel cleaner needs to be rinsed off after applying.
We do however have a great engine bay cleaner called Super Cleaner.
This product is a simple to use spray-on wipe-off product that would work great for what you are trying to do.
The Super Cleaner works great on all interior/exterior surfaces except for glass and delicate instrument panel screens such as your speedometer cluster and navigation screens.
